Qlikview Triggers first or NPrinting Filters first.

Hi All,

I am new to Nprinting. I have developed an Qlikview entity report (Sheet as an Image). This sheet as On activate triggers to select current month and Current financial year and I have some more filters while running qlikview Nprinting reports. I want to whether the selections of triggers will be made first or the selections of Nprinting filters made first.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks and Regards,

Manoj Dhanpal.

Hi Dhanpal,

NPrinting does not support QlikView Triggers and Alternate States as they can lead to unpredictable results. Use QlikView documents that have been stripped of these. You can simulate Triggers & Alternate States using filters if required.

Hi Daniel,

I have removed all the triggers from qlikview end and used filters through NPrinting. Now when I am selecting the Month and year through NPrinting then the expressions which are calculating the previous six months or next six months data are not visible in the nprinting reports. That means it is not calculating the expressions which are having data range in the set analysis.

Please help me out.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,

Manoj Dhanpal.

In addition to trailing reply I am currently using Qlikview 11.20 SR13 and NPrinting Version 16.5.

Thanks and Regards,
Manoj Dhanpal.

Hi Dhanpal,

If you attach a sample QlikView document and a mockup of what output you expect, I (or someone else) can take a look.

Hi All,

The issue is because of using a filter Year_Month column (which holds the data like this 2017-06, combination of year and month).

Instead of this when I am using year and month filters respectively the expressions has been calculated as desired.

Can anyone explain why this doesn't work with the single filter Year_Month.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,

Manoj Dhanpal.
