Hi
In the version Qlik Nprinting june 2018 you can now use monthly and yearly schedules.
This is from the release notes pdf
Monthly and yearly schedule
Time-based triggers now allow the creation of monthly or yearly schedules.
This feature removes a gap between Qlik NPrinting 16 and 17+.
Best regards
Peter
This would be good to have currently I either do weekly every 5 weeks or setup them up under once condition.
I am on 17.3 and would hope by now they have resolved this in subsequent releases.
If it because an issue I could consider setting up a daily task with a condition to be met where that condition is only true on a particular day of the month I want it sent but that would maybe put extra work on the server.
thanks andy
am using latest Qliksense 17.3.2 Nov2017 but in this release also no monthly trigger
hope in feb release they will include.
yes i thought the same but i am not sure it will work or not?
i created the variable in Qlik like below
if(Recordmodifiedate=today(),1,0)
i added this variable in condition Nprinting ,for test data it is working but is this correct ?
Only you can answer that fella its your requirement.
Sometimes when testing I find it best to test the failure condition as well as the success one.
In this case you want to know that the task will fire but a report will not be sent whe the date isnt the day of the month you are looking for
Second test you want to know that the task will fire but a report will be sent when the date is the day of the month you are looking for so some sort of day() function would be useful in your case I think.
yes andy 100% thats am not sure,
i checked with the false condition its showing.
how can i set day() function? how can i extract specific day?
Come on fella you should know this or at least be able to find this yourself.
hmmm let me play this and see for test
Agree with Andy
I do not get it mate... you are asking all those basic questions - how did you get to "GURU" level here? Sometimes i think you are just playing all of us or something...
are you doing this for fun or what?
cheer and have a nice weekend.
Lech
am testing different scenarios here i can play with different ways to get the same results
i need to work different solutions from all so that i can get some other way of results right
yes - but asking how to get day() function working?
