I have a report that I am applying Section Access to. The task runs and works for all but one user. I get this in the publish task (below). In the app itself, the section access works as expected. If I do not apply Section Access in Nprinting everything works fine. I am stumped as to what is going on. Any ideas would be greatly helpful.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi, it seems that this persons "Domain account" in user details is not matching the section access entry hence using those credentials document cannot be opened.
Hi Lech,
Thanks.
The Domain account is valid in Nprinting. I checked the credentials for the user several times to make sure they match in my Section Access. I even copied my entry in my Section Access table and pasted it in the Domain account in Nprinting to test, but I still get the same error for the user.
The section access in the QS app works fine.
Any other possibilities ?
Thanks again,
Brian
Hi,
I suggest you to check also the Qlik NPrinting logs, I think the Engines logs are the correct place, and search if are there any error messages.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
Hi Ruggero,
I checked the logs and I do see errors.
No valid Sense Certificate found or Unauthorized user in Header 'X-Qlik-User'=UserDirectory=flexi-van;UserId=adsmp.
That is the user (adsmp ) that fails to get the report generated in Nprinting. Below is a SS from her User info in Nprinting.
I am attaching more detailed error info from the Nprinting engine log (I am not sure wht most of it means 🙂
Thank you for the help.
Sincerely,
Brian
Hi,
Be sure that you fill all the requirements and follow the procedure documented in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2019/Content/NPrinting/On-Demand/On-Demand-Qlik-Sense..... It seems that you did not installed the Qlik Sense certificate.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
