Reuse Nprinting Engine for test server

Is it possible or allowed to use the same Engine for an NPrinting prod and test servers?

Each Engine can be installed on a single server only.

When you install the engine, you need to provide the NPrinting Server machine name, so it's not possible to connect an Engine to more than one Server.

Thanks for your reply.

After installing the second NP Server, the same license with 1 Engine available was also online but I have problems with the connection. Can it be that although I am using the same license for both servers and the engine is configured for the server name which it is installed for, the connections are not being successfull?

The NPrinting Engine can only be "pointed" to a single NPrinting Server. The Engine won't accept communication from the second Server.
