Rule is not properly working in Nprinting Pixelperfect

Hi,

We came accross the very strange issue in Nprinting. We two columns which we have defining rules, and based on this rule we are showing upper and down arrow.

Where the rules for both the arrow are same. but strangely both the arrows are showing different (in color , UP/Down) for the two same condition.

However we have created same rules for diffrent columns & for all the columns it is working perfectly well, but for only one column it is showing diffrently.

Please find the below rules:

Blue Arrow:

Iif([Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] != '-',[Value of Reclaims Outstanding TP] =[ Value of Reclaims Outstanding LP ]  ,[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change]=[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] )

Green Arrow:

Iif([Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] != '-',

[Value of Reclaims Outstanding TP] < [ Value of Reclaims Outstanding LP ] ,

[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change]=[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change])

Red Arrow:

Iif([Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] != '-',[Value of Reclaims Outstanding TP] > [ Value of Reclaims Outstanding LP ]  ,[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change]=[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] )

Rules.PNG

Please look at the above report:

The "This Period" & "Last Period" value is same , so it should show 'Blue Arrow' in the "Change" field, but it is showing 'Red Arrow' insted of 'Blue Arrow'.

Please help to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Hi Iman,

Perhaps the This Period value is a small fraction larger but the formatting has rounded it off? Can you export the chart from QlikView to Excel and take a look? If you post a sample project that reproduces this behavior I'm sure someone will figure it out for you.

Hi Daniel,

I have exported it in excel. The value for 'This Period' & 'Last Period' is coming same i.e "3324.93" & it rounded off to 3325.

export.PNG

Have a look to the above excel screenshot.

If the value for 'This Period' & 'Last Period' is same then why the color of arrow is coming 'Red' instead of 'Blue'.

Please find the below rules:

Blue Arrow:

Iif([Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] != '-',[Value of Reclaims Outstanding TP] =[ Value of Reclaims Outstanding LP ]  ,[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change]=[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] )

Green Arrow:

Iif([Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] != '-',

[Value of Reclaims Outstanding TP] < [ Value of Reclaims Outstanding LP ] ,

[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change]=[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change])

Red Arrow:

Iif([Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] != '-',[Value of Reclaims Outstanding TP] > [ Value of Reclaims Outstanding LP ]  ,[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change]=[Value of Reclaims Outstanding Change] )

Hi Iman,

Unfortunately I can't spare the time right now to try to reproduce this. If you attach your QVW & PixelPerfect (.npx) report template files I will take a look. Or you could open a case with Support: http://www.qlik.com/us/services/support

Best - Daniel.
