anyway to sync user from active directory to Qlik NPrinting?

how to do it step by step?

Hi,

Starting from September 2018 you can:

Import users and roles from LDAP

You can import users, with attributes and roles, from a generic LDAP source by configuring import tasks in the Qlik NPrinting Web Console.

Remember to change the parameters in order to met you LDAP server configuration. If you don't know it please ask to your server administrator. Active Directory supplies an LDAP server.

Hi Ruggero,

I tried connect to my LDAP, i just get the group not users.

Here's my additional filter users.

CN=Users,DC=MyDomain,DC=com

Any idea?

Hi,

LDAP itself can be customized. So you need to check taht the Entry attributes part of the Qlik NPrinting configuration matches your specific LDAP server configuration. Maybe you could ask to your LDAP server manager.

I tried using excel, the same excel at sample files from link that you gave.

Import completed succesfully.

I only get group, the same when i'm using import from ldap.

Hi,

The only value that should need to be changed to perform a full import of LDAP should be the User identification value from inetOrgPerson to user or person.
