Trigger Nprinting Import Task via Rest API

Hy Community,

has anyone a idea how to trigger a recipient import Task in Nprinting via api.

I've just tried and was also unsuccessful (400 - Not found).

The connection string i used (QvRestConnector 1.3) workes fine for a publish task so I guess that the POST /Tasks/{id}/Executions does NOT work for import tasks.

Running NP Feb-18

Update 1:

A GET does return the same error code.

Update 2:

The GET /Tasks does only return publishTask.

Conclusion:

All Tasks endpoint are publish task only.

recipient import task trigger via API is not supported!

Is there any idea on if/when this will be added?

Unfortunately, there is currently no timeline for when this will be implemented in the product.

As a temporary workaround, you can use the private API as in below knowledge base article.

Please be aware that private APIs are not officially supported (Qlik Support does not provide support for problems you may encounter using those) and this can be removed/modified without any notice by R&D between different versions so there is no guarantee that it keeps working after an upgrade, you would need to test them after each NPrinting upgrade.
