Unable to login into Nprinting after Restore.

Hi All,

I tried to upgrade the Nprinting to September 2018 release from April 2018, I have created the backup, then i uninstalled the April version of Nprinting and installed September version and i was able to login into Nprinting and added the engine, created test app and created test connection and it was successful. when i restored it from the back up and tried to login with the same credentials and i am unable to login into the Nprinting. All the logs and cmd windows gave me successful messages.

If anybody has a solution please share.

If you restored NP April 2018 database over Sept 2018 NPrinting, then it will not work and NPrinting will fail to operate.

If you restored NP April 2018 database over Sept 2018 NPrinting, then it will not work and NPrinting will fail to operate.

Thank you Frank for response.

So now i should

1. uninstall September release

2. install April release

3. restore the backup taken from April release
4. take a back up

5.  install September release

6. restore the back up taken in Step 4.

Exclude step 6.

The upgrade process also upgrades the NP database tables so there is no need to restore as you stated in point 6.

I worked fine, now i have September version of Nprinting with my work restored.
