What does Trigger do in Qlik Nprnting COnnection

Dear Experts,

In Qlik Nprinting September 2017 , I can see a trigger option while crating a connection.  Could you please explain, what is the use of this functionality?

Hi

This trigger is used if you want to have metadata generation proces scheduled and refreshed automaticly periodicly. So you can have your metadata always up to date. This is mainly useful if you have multiple developers working on Qlik Sense or QlikView apps and NPrinting apps
