Hi
we use NPrinting 16.9 SR 9.
Where is the resulting HTML file being stored that is produced with the Message "Send Email" functionality?
E.g. we find the base html file with <image src=<any image.png> > statements, but not the Message html file with the <image src=cid: > commands.
Thank you - Marcel
Hello Marcel,
Can you please give some context as to why you are looking for that file?
I did an overview of our Qlik NPrinting 16.x documentation and found the following:
Are you trying to embed HTML in an email? If so does this help what you are trying to accomplish?
Thanks!
Eva
Hi
We know how to embed reports into messages.
However, it is not possible to attach predefined PDF-documents as attachments to such messages, if the name of the PDFs constantly changes with each mail sent. Only PDFs with static names can be attached.
The PDF attachments are not created by Nprinting, as said.
Thus what we want to do is this:
Kind regards - Marcel
Hello Marcel,
I am going to ask internally to see if I can find any information regarding the predefined PDF documents.
Thanks for the further information.
Regards,
Eva
Hi,
You have not assess to the HTML code generated to compose the email body because it is managed internally.
In QlikView NPrinting 16 you can select the third option and add a custom HTML file instead of using the native editor to compose it. You can try to use the custom HTML file with the code that you want and it will be used to generate the output.
Please note that the 16 series is ending and this feature, at the moment, is not supported in 19.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
