What would you like to know about designer?
If you are asking about designer and MsOffice - so they are tight together as per above mentioned help document. You don't need MsOffice for server.
cheers

Hi,
If you are new to Qlik NPrintng the best place where to start to search for information is the official help site of the version of Qlik NPrinting you are using https://help.qlik.com/en-US/.
Common information like the requirements are listed there.
