Why is Preview of Table in NPrinting is not matching with QVW table.

Hi All,

I am new to Qlik view and NPrinting, I am trying to make report in NPrinting for the first time, So I may be doing silly mistake but still unable to figure this out.

  • I am trying to make a simple excel report in NPrinting where the connection  is the QVW from which I am taking the table. I selected excel reports.
  • Under Tables selected add object and dragged the straight table object id into the sheet present on right side.

When I click the preview the excel is not coming up as expected. Example

  • QVW has 43693 rows where as NPrinting preview report has 65536 rows.
  • There no values in NPrinting report for Column called "ServiceTrackingNumber"

For your 2 questions:

  • QVW has 43693 rows where as NPrinting preview report has 65536 rows.

    -  Do you use filter in QVW file? As if you do not use filter in Nprinting, it will show all data in the table.

  • There no values in NPrinting report for Column called "ServiceTrackingNumber"

    - Did you add the column "ServiceTrackingNumber" after you create the connection in Nprinting? If yes, then the column will not be available until  you refresh the "Sources" connection in Nprinting.
