It appears that the password that you are using may not be valid.

Try using the same password to log into your NP database via PGadmin. If it doesn't work then the password you are using is invalid.

You can use the following information in this article to guide you.

If you have performed or followed the steps provided in the previous update there should be no issue.

Ideally you should have a 'test' system where you can test such changes/modifications in order to feel comfortable performing such actions in a production environment.

Hopefully you have been performing regular NPrinting backups prior to this to ensure you can reinstall and restore from a good NP backup if absolutely necessary.

hello @Frank_S  I have a doubt I have been trying to find the password that was introduced in the installation of nprinting to create the backup but nobody has it and do not remember it.

Is there a way to recover the password ?, or change it? if it changes, are there consequences for what you already have?

Hello @Frank_S, I am grateful for the help you have given me. The problem is that I do not have the password to generate a backup of Nprinting. Is there a way to change it without problems?
or is there any way to know that password?

Hi @gr_eldred,

To get the original password used, see Part 2 - NPrinting in this article: https://qliksupport.force.com/articles/000040742
