format number in excel

Im currently generating an excel report in NP17.3

The table im sourcing the data from in Qlik Sense has this value as a number.  Im totaling on it and Qlik is seeing it fine.

In NPrinting im creating my own table and applying my own formats to it and it wont take.  It keeps treating it as text. Any ideas?

I dont want to use the source format as its not presented how I want.

Hi,

Go to presentation change its format to number from expression default.

That is exactly it.  Had it at auto in the Sense table and I was looking at the totals thinking I had it as a number.

Its working now.
