NPrinting template editor allows you to add specific objects from your QVW or QVF that you wish to appear in your report.

Only add to your NPrinting report template the individual objects that you wish to see in your report and do not add the object you do not wish to appear in the report output.

Also do not add the entire sheet (if using QlikView) to your NP report template editor if there are objects on that sheet that you do not wish to see in your report output. Use individual document objects only.

Please note however, you may be able to leverage the NPrinting Pixel Perfect editor to achieve the specific requirement that you are attempting to resolve as well. (this feature below is not available in the MS Office and HTML template editors.)

I have one more possible solution for you.

Consider the following hypothetical scenario:

When Chart 1 has data, Chart 2 will not have data

When Chart 2 has data, Chart 1 will not have data

Next:

Create 2 reports:

1. Report 1 contains chart 1 only

2. Report 2 contains chart 2 only

Create 2 Tasks and add conditions:

1. Add Report 1 to Task 1. Add a condition where it chart 1 has values = true

2. Add Report 2 to Task 2. Add condition where if chart 2 has values=true

Result:

Report 1 will only be distributed if chart 1 has values

Report 2 will only be distributed if chart 2 has values.

Note that this is an extremely simplified solution but the principles here should allow you to use existing conditional logic to send your desired report charts. The limitation is that you will need to maintain an extra report, report task and conditions.

There could be more complex solutions but this is the simplest use of out of the box tools that come with NPrinting.

Hope this helps.
