Hello guys,
I am looking for an option to disable sending an email to the users when NPrinting task is failed for some reason. Currently I see 2 options but looks like both will send an email to the users even though task is failed.
@Ruggero_Piccoli Can you please help me on this?
Thanks,
Anil
Hi,
The options in your screenshot are explained in
https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2020/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Admin.... Maybe you have to set the first "When a publish task cannot generate one or more reports" to the second value "Recipients will receive successful reports, with no error message". If all reports fail, recipients will not receive an email.
The "Task execution notifications" are sent to the fixed list of recipients you configure there, not to the users for which the report is created.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
Can you confirm that email is still sent after the entire task shows a 'failed' status?
If the task is in a 'failed' status, I believe that no email should be sent to end users. However, you may receive a notification if you are listed in the to cc or bcc of the 'tasks' settings
