Does Nprinting PPTX templates support Multiples of the same page level?

Hi All.

I have a pptx report on Nprinting for which i need every page to be filtered into a new page based on a retailer.

Firstly, is there some kind of a trick to get the Page level to work?

I add and preview and in the prview i see the tag but not filtered like this:

I did get this working and wanted to add for a second page (the same Level) but i get the above, has anyone else experienced this issue?

And, please confirm if it is possible to have the same page level added on multiple slides so mu 6 pages becomes 12 (the page level has 2 options)

Yes, you can add a page level to multiple slide, all you need to do is to add the page level to the first slide you would like to start with and then add the slide range in the below page level field property -

So i added this in the 2nd slide and still get this

I am so unclear why the page level is not working,  I have been through the guide you sent also, thank you, i believe i am following this. have you seen before when the tag shows as the text and no as an action?

Hi,

Now you have slides from 2 to 9 duplicated for each value of the field BrandBreakdown with filtered content. The issue is that the tag <BrandBreakdown> is not replaced on the slides, correct? I mean you have the sliders duplicated with the right content.

Try to add the tag <BrandBreakdown> alone, in a single text object.

Actually i just get the slides 2-9 not duplicated and on slide 2 i just have the text box with the Page level as you mentioned.

Its as if the function is not working at all

Hi,

I just did a test in my installation and the feature works. I created two slides under the same Page field and in the generated report I get two slides for each distinct value of the field. The tag of the Page field is correctly replaced with its values.

I suspect that you are doing something wrong in the process of the template editing. Try to create a simpler template with just 2 slides, add the property and a paged field and check to have the correct preview. Remember that you have to insert the Slides 2-9 property while selecting the first slide of the group. Also when adding the field in the Page node you must have the first slide selected.

Probably you may try deleting and recreating the paging field. It works for me all the time, rarely I needed to recreate it

Thank you all for your suggestions.

I ended up adding the Page Level to the Title page and numbered all slides 1-9.

Now i have the whole report twice, once for each of the results. this while suffice however i was looking to get the title page and then page 1 and a copy splitting by the page level  page 2 and a copy  etc.

To repeat each slide for a page value in that order needs separate page field for each slide, I know its bit complicated and not easy to implement with some changes needed in data model
