Existing NPrinting licenses - renew or buy new for QlikSense

We used to have NPrinting and QlikView user-based licenses which are expires on 31 Dec 2021.

We are moving away from QlikView user-based licenses to procuring QlikSense user-based licenses.

Now with Qlik Sense user-based licenses - Can we renew the existing NPrinting license by paying the AMC or need to procure new NPrinting licenses which will work with Qlik Sense?

Hi,

For details you may need to contact your Qlik Partner or Qlik Account Manager. There are many dependencies and all of them are based on individual scenarios.

Typically you should be able to migrate your current NPrinting license.

The thing is that with that license you will also need to migrate all your reports from now not supported version 16 to version May 2021 SR3 (the latest/current) as you can only use the license on one instance at the time.

Qlik usually can arrange you a trial license so you can transition and migrate everything before fully transforming your production license.

Bottom line is - you should to negotiate those details directly with your account manager.
