Hide Sheets in NPrinting based on selection on QlikSense OnDemand

Dear Experts,  My QlikSense app has around 10 Sheets,  Every sheet has one OnDemand button for the user to generate a individual NPrinting report on the final sheet Created a consolidated report as well which user can export all 10sheets data into one single pack using the  same OnDemand button.

1. On the NPrinitng side developed all 10 sheets data into one single consolidated report and individual reports for the user.

2. User select the Ondemand button in QS. so one Excel based report will be generated.

3. Up to here all works well. Here I'm struggling to implement where user wants to select random sheets like 1,3,6 out of 10 sheets on ondemand so those only 3 sheets wants to be generated.

Can you please help me on this.

Hi,

Excel templates have not a feature to hide/unhide parts based on conditions or selected values from a filter.

Some ideas to test:

1 - create 10 different templates and the On-Demand user will select the one to be generated. Pro: they can be 10 completely different templates. Cons: you have to manage 10 templates.

2 - if all 10 parts contain the same Qlik Sense objects filtered in different ways you can use the Pages node by adding on it a straight table. The user will filter the values of the straight table to keep and Qlik NPrinting will generate only the selected worksheets. Pros: one single template. Cons: the structure of each worksheet must be the same.

Ruggero

Thanks for your inputs Ruggero. very helpful.

In my scenario, each sheet has different objects with unique filters per page. Most of them are pivot tables.
