Import Users: Will NPrinting delete existing users in the Users list if an Import file is used?

Hi,

We have hundreds of users already set up in our NPrinting environment manually.

We want to start using the import file process.

Will NPrinting delete existing users in the Users list if an Import file is used?

Hi,

In this case, no.

An import user task can manage only the users it has created. So a specific user import task can delete only the users it created.

You can manually delete the existing users or you can create a custom software that uses the APIs like https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2018/APIs/NP+API/index.html#usersIdDelete
