Hi Kaushik,
You can add a QlikView chart multiple times into a template and apply a different filter to each instance. This tutorial shows you how: How to Apply a Specific Filter to Tables or Images
HTH - Daniel.
Thanks Daniel.
I am using nprinting 15.6 and I am not able to see filter option in properties pane.
Also in my case I have apply more than one filter. Is it possible?
Can please help me on this.
From my testing, it looks like you can only apply 1 filter to a specific object - what Daniel is describing is bringing in the same object from QlikView into Nprinting multiple times - each object will have a number after it ti differentiate and then you can apply a different filter to each object
You would have your 10 charts - one in QlikView but brought into nprinting 10 times - apply each specific filter the to appropriate object
If you do not see the filter property, my guess is you do not have the release where that feature became available

Hi Aran Nathanson
Thanks a lot for your help.
Can i know from which version of NPrinting the filter option(setting filter value for each charts) is available.
Object filters were made available in NPrinting 15.4.
I recommend you upgrade to the latest release (16.2) on the Qlik Downloads page.
Thanks Stephen.
I will try to upgrade.
Aran, I have tried this but another question comes up here. I am applying Object based filters here. Let's say I have to create 3 Tables, each with separate filtered values. I created those 3 filters and applied them to 3 different Table objects (check screen shot).
The CH89_553761981 produces correct results with first applied filter.
The CH89_553761981_1 produces correct results with second applied filter.
The CH89_553761981_2 has no filter defined but it still read the last applied filter value.
The CH88_337473097 is a totally different chart but that also read the last applied filter of CH89_553761981_1 and produces incorrect results.
I guess the question is that when we apply object based filters, do they clear out the filed after applying? Or leave the filed selected as it is that ruins the next coming charts in NPrinting.
Thank you,
Hi Sohail,
I am not experiencing the behavior you describe. I used 3 instances of the same chart, the first was filtered for Year 2014, the second for year 2015 and the third has no object level filter.
Tested with PowerPoint as well. Can you post a small project that demonstrates the behavior you describe so we can investigate?
Thanks,
Daniel.
