NPrinting 17.3.1 - No preview in Designer and Newsstand, only .zip download

Hi All,

I'm new to NPrinting but got from documentation and videos that users should be able to preview reports in a separate browser window.

As of now, clicking on the preview icon in Newsstand downloads and archive containing the report itself; is this the expected behavior? Is there any way to change it?

Moreover, same thing happening while trying to preview in Designer.

I already check roles and users configuration, everyone is allowed to both preview and download reports,

Please advise.

Regards,

Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,

You are previewing an HTML report and with this kind of reports it is normal that the preview will be generated in .zip format.

If you create an Excel template and you run a preview in Excel format you will have an Excel file.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
