Need to send Separate Email as per Owned Company

Hi All,

I am facing issue while working one requirement from Business.

Scenerio:

I have a companyname having 100 companies and these are owned by 20 Executives. Each executive have different company. Now they want separate email for each owned company. Suppose P1 has 20 companies , then he must get 20 email corresponding to each different company.

I have tried with filtering but unable to generate 20 different email for each user. Even report filtering will provide all excel in Zip format but i want emails separately.

How can I configure NPrinting to send individual emails per company?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I have attached dummy file with all details. Please have a look into it.

Thanks in advance.

@Sebastian_Dec  If i am enabling Cycling. i will get all company data in Excel in zip format in single mail only which i don't want. I want separate mail as per  company Name .I have already tried this but it is not full filling my requirement.

One solution is i have to create separate task for each company which is not feasible.

Ok, I understand, instead of 1 email with e.g. 5 attachments, you want 5 separate emails with 1 attachment?

As far as I know, Qlik Nprinting does not allow for example 10 users with the same email, so I will not have a solution for you, you will have to wait for Lech.

Btw, you can use Qlik Nprinting as an intermediary to send emails via SMTP, but it will be manual sending, not fully automatic (you collect emails via Qlik Nprinting and then send them to the appropriate recipients using a script written e.g. in Python).

Solution is very simple:

  1. you create dummy users - each user = 1 company
    1. email address for that user can be dummy for example: company_1@xyz.com
    2. important: you also add executive email as alternative email
    3. important: you create user filter so for that filter nprinting will only print data for company_1
    4. you assign all those companies to NPrinting group
  2. create your report task:
    1. in User/group section add Group as recipient of your report
    2. in TO: section of the email you choose: alternative email - this is critical point as basically report will be produced as per user requirement (ikn this case dummy company but it will be sent to alternative email - executive)

top tip: I normally add myself as say alternative email 2 so then I can actually test what is being send out.

thats it

@saurav5246 - make sure you provide us with correct information as well. NPrinting 16.4 which you used as label obviously is no longer supported and obviously does not work with Qlik Sense so using irrelevant labels creates mess and is not usefull for others searching for answers.

If you can - updated labels to use correct ones, if you cannot-remember that for next post please.
