Hi,

It is not necessary to install Microsoft Office in the Qlik NPrinting server computer. Office reports generation doesn't requires Microsoft Office so you can save a license.

You error about the designer is caused by a bad installation of Office on your local computer. Please be sure your installation fill all the requirements in the page https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/System-requirements_.... Office 365 is not supported.

In case try to reinstall Office and the Designer.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Are you still having the issue?

If yes try to uninstall and reinstall Office and the NPrinting Designer by doing a right click on the setups and select Run as administrator.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
