Hi,

You have the error when running the imported task with Qlik NPrinting November 2020. At that point it is a Qlik NPrinting November 2020 task copied from QlikView NPrinting 16 but no more related with the migration process.

The Windows user who runs the Qlik NPrinting Scheduler service must have the rights to write in the destination folder.

FTP destination was supported in QlikView NPrinting 16 but it is not in Qlik NPrinting 17+.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

The service account is a member of the local Administrators group on the NPrinting server, Could you let me know how I can fix it in that case.

you are trying to store this data to this location:

\\emismbxxxx.com\SFTP_ROOT\SAP\Input\SAPRDDBacklog'

being LOCAL admin may not give you sufficient priviledges as they only apply to the NPrinting server itself and not to any other shared folders.

I suggest you speak to your infrastructure admin about that as this is not NPrinting question - it is a read/write OS permission question!

Thanks for our reply, here just want to highlight one note, for an example

Currently we are using ABC as an service account and shared files path \\emismbxxxx.com\SFTP_ROOT\SAP\Input\SAPRDDBacklog is in different server, To place the files in the server from current 16.3 Nprinting version we are using FTPUSER as user name and will login with ftupuser credentials and will run the  jobs .

We are assuming that when we are running jobs from Nprinting migration tool 2020 it is taking ABC service account credentials to place the file in the path, that's why it is throwing us '\\emismbxxxx.com\SFTP_ROOT\SAP\Input\SAPRDDBacklog'. ERROR: The user name or password is incorrect.

Please let me know if am i wrong and let me know the solution.
