Quick post to address some common questions regarding the PostGreSQL version included within Qlik NPrinting.
There is an upcoming Qlik NPrinting service release (SR) that will be available before the end of May to move to PostGreSQL V13.20 which will address an identified CVE. There will be SR's released on the February 2024 and February 2025 versions.
The next planned SR will be targeted for end of summer (late August/early September) and it will contain the full PostGreSQL upgrade to Version 17. This will also be available for February 2024 and February 2025 release lines.
Important note
• Once a version of Qlik NPrinting with a higher version of PostGreSQL is deployed (e.g. from February 2024), you cannot go back to a lower version of the February 2025 version line. Customers should always deploy the latest SR in any Qlik NPrinting version line.
• When these SR's are available, please reference the available Release Notes for a complete list of updates for the associated Qlik NPrinting version
