Qlik N printing Excel retain Excel formula after rendering

Hello everyone,

in Qlik N printing Excel report in a table there are few formulas i required like for C column on 7 th cell (round(c6+c5+c4,2)  but whenever i added column id (i.e <sum(gl_value)>)over there from qliksense table ,I loose the formula .However i tried (round($c$6+$c$5+$c$4,2) to prevent formula but didn't work  .  any solution?

Sorry @DeepakD

I am not sure I understand what you mean. My previous answer was based simply on what I had from your question indicating that cell reference which reflected NPrinting tag was despite being expression was also replaced with values (just like a tag would be).

Hence was my comment that this is known and expected behaviour.

Now, regarding your actual solution and best practice as to how we can deliver what you need - I dont know, as we dont have enough requirements and description of your template behaviour and layout. With NPrinting people often don't realize how much more there can be done in many different ways. Once we know the requirement - we may suggest very different and also much better solution fixing issues you are facing.

cheers

HI @DeepakD

I suggest you work the solution so that the result in the cell you try to calculate does not contain <cell_id_tags> visible in it as those are then populated by NPrinting.
