Qlik NPrinting migration

Hello,

I'm working on a Qlik nPrinting migration on a new server which have the May 2023 SR2 release installed.

Can you tell me how to deactivate the license of my old server to activate it on the new one ? In the activation panel, i don't have access to a desactivation option.

Thanks,

Hi @Emmanuel_DORR

Just stop and disable services on the old server  and apply the same license on new one. Disabling it is critical to avoid accidental start when old server gets rebooted.

Once yo uare happy with your new install you could uninstall nprinting from old server.

Hi,

I would like to add that if you plan to backup the old server and restore it on the new one be sure they are exactly at the same version.

If you plan to upgrade, first migrate the server and restore the backup and after upgrade the new installation.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
