Where do I start troubleshooting the issue?
Hi,
I'm trying to set up a new connection for a report, I tried to create a server connection (QVP) but the verification failed with the "QlikView Server is unreachable" error.
However, from the same machine where the NPrinting server is installed, I can open the same QlikView document in-server using the QlikView desktop app.
I'm running NPrinting May 2023 SR3 and QlikView Server May 2023 SR1
Hello!
Leave the 'connection requires authentication' option and try again.
Kind regards...
I tried that but still got the same error.
Log on as the NPrinting service user account, open QV desktop and try again.
Ensure that your apps/document are available to the NP service account.
IYou need to be able to do 'file>open in server' and see the qlikview apps/documents in the list.
If you can't see the apps as the NP service account, you need to:
1. ensure the np service account has an assign user cal
2. can see the apps after file/open in server
See the following for next steps.
Also it is imperative that if you are running a firewall, you need to check these ports are available and open.

You are right, the NPrinting engine service and QlikView Server both are running under the same domain user 😬
Can this be changed without needing to reinstall NPrinting?
Hi, yes. It should be as simple as changing service account in services.
cheers
I have created a new user for NPrinting and changed the services to run under it but I still get the same old error
The new user is
Hi.
