Recipients disappeared from reports

Hi,

Recently, we started getting complains from recipients about not getting reports.

Checking the publish task revealed that that recipients is not included in the task recipients list  any more.

We didn't exceed the license number.

What could be the reason?

The version is

Qlik NPrinting May 2022

Version: 22.15.2.0

Thanks!

Hi,

Turned out there is an option which was checked  that caused it:

Remove users not present in newest import sources

@dana  are you sure no one has manually removed users from the recipient list? I can't think of anything that would automatically remove user from the list.

@dana is it the same set of users that are not getting the reports or random users? Do you have a copy of the scheduler log and the task log you can attach to the thread?

Were they manually added to each task as individuals or as a group.?

if as a group then likely there is import task overwriting their associations or maybe removing they role?

cheers Lech, When applicable please mark the correct/appropriate replies as "solution" (you can mark up to 3 "solutions". Please LIKE threads if the provided solution is helpful to the problem.

Hi,

Random users.

Kindly refer me to the logs location.

Thanks!

Digvijay_Singh

It happened with me as well, as @Lech_Miszkiewicz  mentioned, for me it was due to import tasks my admin was running to replace all manual users with AD users, it removed manually added users  from all of the tasks.

I can get more details later from my colleague to understand specific scenario he was executing.

I believe the problem is similar to what @Digvijay_Singh described.

The scheduler log is found in C:\ProgramData\nprinting\logs

Hi @Frank_S ,

No one performed such an operation.

Further, it happened a few times during the last couple of weeks.

Re the log: what should I look for in it, since it's a bit problematic to share it...

Thanks!
