Selecting field in nprinting pivot table

Hi All ,

My Nprinting version september 2020.Qlikview version April 2019.

I have a pivot table and I don't want to send specific dimensions in this pivot table. But I can't select dimensions, why? Your help is welcome. I can select on Qliksense but not on qlikview

Thank you so much.

Hi,

This is Work as Design. You can add a QlikView pivot table only as a single tag and the whole fields will be exported.

You can:

  1. clone the pivot in QlikView
  2. transform the clone into a straight table
  3. save the QVW
  4. reload the Qlik NPrinting connection cache
  5. close and reopen the Qlik NPrinting Designer
  6. add the new straight table
  7. create a native Excel pivot table as explained in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/ExcelReports/Pivot-table-Excel.htm. Pay attention to do all the listed steps because the most common error is to skip some of them and in that case you will not have the result you expect

Best Regards,

Ruggero
