As part of our ongoing SaaS product roadmap, we are excited to announce the launch of Qlik Sense Business, our newest SaaS offering designed to help groups and teams collaborate on analytics and make faster data-driven decisions.

Is this the same as Qlik Sense Cloud Business?

No, and it’s not just a name change, either. Qlik Sense Business is a new, enhanced offering with more capabilities that groups and teams can use to build and share apps for greater discoveries.
Qlik Sense Business runs on Qlik Cloud Services, our cloud-native, Kubernetes-based SaaS platform that also hosts Qlik Sense Enterprise.  Qlik Sense Business users will now benefit from the same speed, performance, and availability as our enterprise SaaS users. Additionally, Qlik Sense Business also shares the same enhanced and redesigned user interface, cloud hub, and management console as Qlik Sense Enterprise on Qlik Cloud Services.

Qlik Sense Business users benefit from:

•  Full Qlik Sense analytics capabilities, including the Associative Engine
•  All of Qlik’s latest augmented intelligence capabilities, including insight suggestions
•  Drag-and-drop app creation and fully interactive apps
•  A personal space to create your own content and share with anyone you wish
•  Five shared spaces where your team members can do-develop and share apps
•  Direct data connectivity to over 40 data sources
•  Automated data refreshes

The global roll out of Qlik Sense Business is underway. Be one of the first by to start your 30-day trial now. You will be able to create your tenant in minutes, and begin creating and sharing apps immediately – all without any downloads or installations.

Currently a Qlik Sense Cloud Business user?

Stay tuned for upcoming details next months. We’ll tell you how you can migrate from Qlik Sense Cloud Business and subscribe to Qlik Sense Business. You’ll also be eligible for a limited-time offer savings when you migrate your existing cloud subscription.

@rodrigo_dittric We sent an email out today to our annual subscribers about their migration processs.  We decided to do that now due to demand by our users and to give everyone the maximum amount of time to migrate.  Many of our users do not use the DropBox connector so we didn't want to hold things up for them.

We do expect to have the Dropbox connector in place later this year.  If it is needed for your workflow, I would recommend you still start your migration so you can get to know Qlik Sense Business.  Then once the DropBox connector is in place you can complete your migration.  If you are looking for an alternative to DropBox, you may want to consider an S3 bucket as that connector is already in place in Qlik Sense Business.

Exporting Stories is something that we use every month to send information to customers. If this functionality is not available by the the time we are expected to migrate to the new system will the deadline be extended?

Hi @Josh_Good

I'm still waiting for my email (for a Jestic account)

Until this arrives how can I handle a new member. We have a spare license but how can they log-in using QSCB

Thanks Robert

Hi,

So got the email and excited to move, but still having an issue with the SQL connection. On Qliksense Cloud there is an encrypt tick, but no Trust Server Certificate tick. Connection works perfect with encryption.

But on Qliksense Business cloud the Trust Server Certificate is always ticked on, but if I read the help file it states that this tick is not required.   I suspect this is causing the connection issue.

Any advise on how to rectify this?

Regards

Varsh

Hello,

I expect an email as well. I have started my "QSCB account" in July 2019. But I can see some limitations. I am open to test and if positif to migrate to this "QSB account".  Please send me the email as well.

QSB features: Can we manage "automatisation" via QMC => data refreshed daily, qvf exports daily, users access management, backup automatisation...

Kind Regards,

Mohamed El Hamrouni.

Hi,

We've been testing QSB for some time now and it looks very promising, however there are a couple of things that are not yet clear:

  1. One of our customers already received an email to migrate from QSCB to QSB. They use the dropbox connection, but that is still missing in QSB. It needs to be available before they can migrate.
  2. The first trial period expired. We tried to start the subscription, but were only able to extend the trial for another 15 days. The only other option is to contact sales. When will it be possible to create the subscription online (and add or delete users)?
  3. Is there going to be a free (limited) version like there is with Qlik Sense Cloud and if so, will it be possible to share apps with other people in something like a shared stream?

Keep up the good work!

Best,

Harm

@robert99 you can still invite users into QSCB as you normally would. The invitee will get an email instructing them to create a Qlik Account and then go to qlikcloud.com -Josh Qlik
