As part of our ongoing SaaS product roadmap, we are excited to announce the launch of Qlik Sense Business, our newest SaaS offering designed to help groups and teams collaborate on analytics and make faster data-driven decisions.

Is this the same as Qlik Sense Cloud Business?

No, and it’s not just a name change, either. Qlik Sense Business is a new, enhanced offering with more capabilities that groups and teams can use to build and share apps for greater discoveries.
Qlik Sense Business runs on Qlik Cloud Services, our cloud-native, Kubernetes-based SaaS platform that also hosts Qlik Sense Enterprise.  Qlik Sense Business users will now benefit from the same speed, performance, and availability as our enterprise SaaS users. Additionally, Qlik Sense Business also shares the same enhanced and redesigned user interface, cloud hub, and management console as Qlik Sense Enterprise on Qlik Cloud Services.

Qlik Sense Business users benefit from:

•  Full Qlik Sense analytics capabilities, including the Associative Engine
•  All of Qlik’s latest augmented intelligence capabilities, including insight suggestions
•  Drag-and-drop app creation and fully interactive apps
•  A personal space to create your own content and share with anyone you wish
•  Five shared spaces where your team members can do-develop and share apps
•  Direct data connectivity to over 40 data sources
•  Automated data refreshes

The global roll out of Qlik Sense Business is underway. Be one of the first by to start your 30-day trial now. You will be able to create your tenant in minutes, and begin creating and sharing apps immediately – all without any downloads or installations.

Currently a Qlik Sense Cloud Business user?

Stay tuned for upcoming details next months. We’ll tell you how you can migrate from Qlik Sense Cloud Business and subscribe to Qlik Sense Business. You’ll also be eligible for a limited-time offer savings when you migrate your existing cloud subscription.

@harm_dataspark Currently we are handling all transactions through a higher touch process to ensure everything runs as smoothly a possible. So you should proceed to contact sales if you are interested in purchasing. A digital commercial (“ecomm”) capabilities will be added later this year. -Josh Qlik

Dear all,

I am happy that Qlik is bringing QSCB to QSB, this is closer to QSE. My customers are SME and have then low budget for BI. These below requirements related to "scheduling processes" often come in discussion, I would like then to know if  these features are available (or soon) in QSB:

* Automatization of Visuals exports => make available a sheet with visuals to an internal website

* Automatization of QVD exports(a table) => to communicate data extractions to another system

As the console will be available in QSB, I might expect some scheduling of processes might be included. This scheduling process often lacks if we are not in QSE. If not possible with the QSB version, can we imagine a workaround that fits SME budget?

Kind Regards,

Mohamed.

@rodrigo_dittric Section access is not currently supported in Qlik Sense Business, but it is available in Qlik Sense Enterprise.

Hi guys,

Is there any way to be notified when the Dropbox connect has returned in Qlik Sense Cloud Business as some of our clients rely on this and we cannot finalise their migration from Cloud to Business until this is back up and running?

Thanks!

@lachlanwwells

We'll post an announcement in the innovation blog as we know many people are keen to see this go live in Qlik Sense Business.  You can subscribe to the blog to get all the updates.

For clarity, Qlik Sense Cloud Business still has the Dropbox connector so there shouldn't be any disruption to current usage.

Have you any idea when Dropbox might be added to QSB. I can wait a short spell (like a week) but we have users now waiting for this conversion. Some new users where I said wait for QSB. So if it could be months I will just set up a work around (uploading Excel files into QSB as this is now all the client uses Dropbox and Qlik for now. But before everything was loaded from Dropbox. And the company use Dropbox a lot not just for Qlik)

Qlik Sense is a brilliant product. But sometimes (critical) information like this can be a bit lacking.

Thanks Robert

Good afternoon,

In the account I am using for testing, when an app is created within the workspace, it does not allow sharing.

Still waiting for my shorttime link to set up QSB, the mail mentioned to contact customer support should i not receive this email until 2019-09-20.

Is there a email adress to contact, i have a hard time to reach customer service via the web portal. Keeps asking me for logging in but doesnt seem to accept my credentials which work for  QSCB?

No section access is a bummer. Basically most wanted feature.

Hi,

I just added a user to our QSB environment and gave him 'admin' rights on space. However, he is not able to access the data load editor nor can he refresh the data for apps that he has not created. This makes it hard to work with more people on the same app. I would expect someone who has admin rights to do everything with an app that the owner of the space can. But there can only be one owner... Or am I missing something?
