Exclude Table seletion pattern not working for CDC

I have an table selection pattern dbo.% to select all the tables in dbo but also i have an exclusion pattern to exclude the some table starting with cache dbo.cache%. In full load it's not picking those tables but in CDC those tables come up every time. Is there any way to exclude those in CDC as well.

It's hard to understand the issue without  additional information. Can you please let us know what's the source/target DBs type and version? and what's the Replicate version. Can you please provide a task Diagnostics Package with source_unload/target_load/source_capture/target_apply set to Verbose.

BTW, please check if the table pattern "dbo.cache%" was included in other task(s). We never heard this type of issue in the past.
