Kafka Connector, retries and DLQ

I'm researching if QLIK replicate can be configured to send messages to another topic called "DLQ" once maximum number of retries has been reached. Can you help me to reply this? 

If not, what happen when maximum number of retries has been reached?

I'm not sure about the meaning of 'maximum number of retries' - if it refers to network connectivity retries, then sending to another topic would be impossible since the connection is broken.

I'm looking for monitoring approach in case  there are any issues in the destination side in order to fix the data or retry manually.

Apologies, I'm not sure how this was missed, but we overlooked the feedback.

To address potential target-side connection issues, please configure notifications to promptly alert the DBA of any exceptions. This will help minimize the need for manual intervention to resolve such issues.
