Hello Emily

This error is usually seen when the task is timing out on a query to the backup tlogs.
Please open the MSSQL source endpoint, Advanced tab-->Internal parameters and increase executeTimeout from 300 seconds to 900. Save and resume the task.

After saving the internal parameter can you please update us?

If the error persists, please open a Case and send us the Package logs with SOURCE_CAPTURE in TRACE

Task settings/ Logging/ Logging Level/ SOURCE_CAPTURE to TRACE save and resume the task

Thank you for the post to the QDI Forums. For the SQL Server connection can you check to see if the Connection String and you are using the Listener to do the Connection to this Source?
