Pre-Cache with JMeter in https environment

Hi all,

I have a problem while I try to run a pre cache using JMeter with the QV Script Generator.

I tried it in a simple environment and it works fine, but I need to use this tip in an environment under https protocol web access. Here it dont work, the document dont load in ram so I am thinking it is a problem to access through https.

Someone knows if use https is a problem to run pre cache with JMeter?

Thank you very much!

Regards,

Guzman.

Hi,

There should be no issues for precaching, but versions before 0.8 of the tool did not support https out of the box. So in the case where you tried earlier versions of the tool then download 0.8, found here:  QV Scalability Tools (QV10,QV11)

cheers

Hi, Garcia.

Maybe that is not exactly answer to your question, but... Have you tried to run pre cache script from VBScript script instead of JMeter? In my opinion to write such scripts in actual programming language is much more convenient then in GUI. Take a look at QlikView automation by external VBScript scripts
