Bookmarks in app objects

Is it just me, or are bookmarks not visible in app objects in Qlik Sense?

We use version 2.1.1.

I'm on the same version, and I don't see them as well.

I tried to make a security rule, that would override whatever setting could disable showing bookmarks but this had no effect. I tried with App.Object.bookmark.*

Glad I'm not the only one

But hope it will be bug-fixed then or included in next release.

Hello,

What do you guys mean? You can't create bookmarks in that version or what is it exactly?

Because I see bookmarks in both Desktop and server. Same version. Published or unpublished.

I'm only looking at the server.

When a user creates a bookmark, it should be possible to see this object in "app objects" on the server.

I you change owner of a document and change back, then the user-bookmarks are gone.

Not bookmarks created inside the document.

Hello,

Now I got that you mean QMC--> App Objects.

Tested as well. Bookmarks do not show up there at all though. Does not make a difference if you change the owner or not. If you publish even for the first time, including the doc bookmarks, they don't show.

Don't remember about the situation in the earlier versions but this may be by design as I can see only sheets and stories under App Objects. It implies that the bookmarks and other objects (like charts etc) are treated differently.

I think we then have some sort of a bug then, cause one of my users lost 20 bookmarks. And I'm not able to see them in QMC.

Try the following:

1) publish a app with user1 so owner is user1

2) make a bookmark with user2

3) change owner of the app to user2

3) change owner of the app back to user1

User2 have lost his bookmark!

So something happens with bookmarks in change of ownership of a document.

Hello,

So we all agree there is no bookmark anyway under App Objects then.

Now concentrating on your scenario, in my test, user bookmarks are not lost actually.

I followed as below:

1) publish a app with user1 so owner is user1

2) make a bookmark with user2

3) change owner of the app to user2

4) change owner of the app back to user1

5) Publish again
