Butterfly or Tornado Chart


Hey guys,

I am looking for a solution how to design butterfly or tornado chart.

I have 1 dimension (NameField) and 2 expressions (# and %)

Here is an example on how to achieve this.

you can achieve this in two different ways as in images above. Check the QVF file for more info(attached).

You can follow the procedure which Robert mentioned. Works the same in QlikSense as well.

I am still kind of confused. I am not quite sure how Robert got to the final chart? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the solution. It looks great. Only thing that I see is that you had to use negative values for %. Which I could live with. You mentioned QVF file, but I do not see it attached.
