COUNTING MATCHED CELLS FROM 2 SEPERATE TABLES

Hello all,

I need your support for my frustration!

I have a TABLE1 with POSTAL CODES, and TABLE 2  MASTER POSTAL CODES. The TABLE1 has matching Postal codes in Table 2.

I would like to count only the matching Postal codes between the two. These are separate tables, and there is no common field to join them. I tried creating a resident table but then i need to first join them at least or somehow use two residents which i dont think i know how?

I really need your support.

Load master postal code table first and name column as postalcode which is in table 2
Now, load table 2 using where exist clause.
Now, using noofrows function on table2 you can get count.
