I have 2 companies (therefore 2 different SQL files) using SAP Business One. I have just developed an APP for 1 company. Question is: can I copy the app I just developed and change parameters of that copy to meet specs for company 2, therefore, I don´t have to develop the same app for company 2?
1. if you are the owner of the app, right click and duplicate the app.
2. Change the Data load script to point to 2nd company and reload it.
3. Finally you can rename the app as you want.
Let me know if you see any concerns.
Thanks Hemantha and Ole. Yes, I am the owner, but right clicking, shows option duplicate only for sheet within an app. When I am on the hub showing all apps, when I right click an app the only options are: (translated from portuguese) open without data, load at qlik cloud and delete
It may be a version thing. What version are you running ? For 2.1 see help topic below for duplicating both published and unpublished apps
aha ! This is not available in the desktop. We (and I) were referring to QLik Sense enterprise / server.
Makes perfect sense.
You need to duplicate the actual file to do this. Under c:\users\<user>\documents\qlik\sense\apps
make a 2nd QVF.
If you're using Qlik Sense Enterprise (or server) edition, you can copy application through Qlik Management Console (QMC).
https://[qlikURL]/QMC -> apps -> select app ->duplicate.
