Can I start my Dashboard filtered?

Hi Folks,

kann I start my Dashbaord with a Filter? Maybe the year 2017. Always when I open my App I will get this filter. And when I delete it and change, say to 2016 and terminate my app, I will get 2017 when I start the app again.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Tim,

There are no trigger actions like Qlikview on Sense.

What you can do, is create a variable with max(DYEAR) and put it on your graphs / tables with set analysis so that it filters the max year you have in your data.

Yes You can.

You should "lock" your filter value.

Just select your value, right click and choose "lock".

Note also that even if you simply save your document within a selection you will get it when opening it.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately there is no "lock" Funktion when I filter and right click in my dashboard. What I am doing wrong?

Hi Felip,

thank you for your post.

What do you think with "put it on your graphs"?

Hi,

as discussed many times on the community, triggers are not yet available on Qliksense.

the only way to simulate an On-Start trigger like what we can do on Qlikview, is via Extensions.

so if you're ok with using extensions, just tell me, I'll provide you with some usefull links.
