Carry forward the selections made in a Website to Qlikview or Qliksense Dashboard

Hi All,

We have a requirement where a particular website will have same filters as of Qlikview and the Users would make particular selections in the filters of website and the website will also have the link to Qlikview dashboard. Once the user clicks the link to Qlikview/Qliksense dashboard the same filters should be carried forward to the dashboard with showing up the respective detail values they wanted to see.Please let me know if you have any concerns or further questions on the same.

I don't know if it works for QlikSense, but for QlikView you can pass in selections using parameters in the URL.  Here is a document that details the process: AJAX and URL parameters
