Connection VS 2015 Plugin to Qlik Sense Server fails, how to solve?

I installed QlikSenseServer, it runs under https://mycomputername/  (works fine)

I installed Visual Studio 2015 on same machine.

I try to connect Qlik Analytics Plugin to Qlik sense server with:

https://mycomputername/

Logged on user

and

Other credentials

I added "mycomputername" to whitelist in virtual proxy.

Always same result:

Can not connect to that server, check host and/or user information and try again!

Any ideas?

Hello Lars,

I am working local, but I gave it a try and test it with turned off firewall.

Still not working.

I can access hub via the browser.

Hi again,

When you access the hub via the browser does it complain about the cerificate? If so you could try to connect with http (don forget to configure the Proxy to "Allow Http"). Another thing that you could try is adding your IP-address to the "origin whitelist".

Hi again,

From what I can see your configuration seems to be OK, could you try to connect to https://playground.qlik.com/

to if this works?

See Qlik Analytics plugin for Visual Studio - YouTube

Hello Lars-Göran,

I tried to connect to https://playground.qlik.com/

and it works well. I got connected and saw items in Visual Studio.

Hi Heiko,

well we still have the issue with your server. My guess is that there is some configuration missing in the QMC.
To help you out here I need to know more about your environment.

Is your workstation a part of a Windows Domain?

Is your server a part of that Windows domain?

Have you loaded all the AD-users to the qlik sense server or only defined your user?

If you only defined your own user is that the domain\user?
When you open the hub do you get cerificate warnings?

Hello Lars-Goran,

I develop QlikSense on a local machine without Windows Domain.

I have only local accounts and added them to Qlik. I tried them by logging in with all accounts to hub.

After adding certificates to mmc I got no warnings any longer.
