Embedding charts into web pages

Hi all

Just updated to version 1.0 and been playing around with the new mash ups feature. If you're not sure what I'm talking about check this out: https://help.qlik.com/sense/en-us/developer/index.html#../Subsystems/Workbench/Content/BuildingWebsi...

Anyway, I have created my own mash up on my localhost server - was wondering if anyone has tried embedding charts onto a web page and if they could share the results via say a screenshot here?

I have to dive into the javascript to work out the websockets part and I am not a programmer so will take some time however I think this is a pretty interesting development if it works how I think it does.

Also what are the implications of this from a licensing perspective?

cheers

Mark

Mark, in Qlik Sense version 1.1 you can go to http://localhost:4848/workbench on your local machine to identify how to embed objects.  There is a nice video about embedding objects here: Mash-Up APIs Part 2: Embedding Objects - YouTube or check out the full set of links here:

Qlik Sense Mash-Up API Tutorials

WRT licencing, as long as the users are internal and they each have a token, either a User Access Pass or a Login Access Pass, then there's no problem.  Qlik prohibits multiplexing (where the web server logs in once for multiple users) and you'd need a special licence to use Sense for external users.
