Enter Variabel at Specific Row in Certain Field

Hello everyone,

how can i enter a variabel by accessing a certain row number and its field?

for example:

alphabeth | name

a | albert

b | boris

d | duncan

so there is 'c' missing and i now want to enter at the third position by accessing the row number the line c. 

after:

alphabeth | name

a | albert

b | boris

c | 

d | duncan

Is your actually data made up of alphabets? If it isn't then how will we know what is missing?

there is nothing missing in my data... 

it s a calendar with specific workdays. the function networkdays() won't work.

i got a column of ordered days and now i want to access each row to enter in the 'workday' column 'yes' or 'no'.

this is a separate table with no dates... so my idea was to add each field separate because they are syncronized by order.

I did not, in fact I am more confused now.... we started with alpha-numeric data... but moved over to dates (NetWorkDays)... I think your sample is totally unrelated to your request... can you may be provide a better sample to explain your requirement?

sorry for that... 

i fixed my problem with indexing each row with a number and did the same thing in my other table and joined them with the index as key. looks good for now.
