Help with Alternate States Expression

Hi,

The following expression doesn't work:

sum({Grp1}ItemSalesPrice * Quantity)

it works fine without the alternate state group.

Any idea why?

Thanks!

what do you mean?
your expression looks fine.
are you sure that your alternate state name match with "Grp1" ?
what is your expected result?

Hi,

Yes, the name is correct.

the calculation ( of total price) is  fine without the alternate state.

Thanks..

could you share a sample app woth mock data to look at?
i don't understand why you are using alternate state in that expression.

Hi,

There are actually two expressions for each state for comparison in a table.

I will try to recreate the issue in order to check whether there is an issue with the  price field.
thanks for your kind help!

"The following expression doesn't work:"

It would be useful if you told us what result you are getting -- eg null, zero, a number different than without the State.

Hi,

The expression works fine. It turned out that the field didn't have values for periods I selected.

Thanks for your trying to help!
