Hide a table column

Hi,

I'm using a table measure containing the following expression:
=SUM({<Year={$(v_Default_Year)}>}1)

I'm using this expression because the table needs to show the current year rows until the user chooses otherwise, this table holds only dimensions and so I can't use set analysis in order to filter by year.
I don't want to force the app to hold this specific year using the script, as I want the user to be free to choose another year if he wishes.
With this expression as a measure, the table is filtered as wanted, but I don't want the user to see this expression result as it means nothing to him.

Do you know a way to hide this column from the user but to keep it active in the background so it will still manipulate the table by the expression held there?

Thanks,
Shay
