Issues with displaying date dimension in Qlik Sense

Hi

I am migrating an application from QlikView to Qlik Sense - one issue that I have relates to a dimension that holds the date in MMM- YYYY format (e.g. Sep-2018) as you see below (in QlikView)

Doing the same in Qlik Sense I get the following - even when I switch to the alternative view (by Week-Year), I always get the axis showing dd/mm/yyyy (see below). The popup shows the correct field (and format) but the axis always like this - any help would be most appreciated.

You can change the format by edit the dimension for secondly you can change from the chart from auto to function which even you want..

Thanks for the reply - you might be thinking of measurements where you can change the format - for dimensions you cannot (see below)
