Month Numbers Incremental going forward Every Year

Hello Experts,

We have a requirement as Below:

Currently we have first Month as 2019- May in Our Data Set, we need to assign Number 1 for May, June as 2, July as 3....

For Next Year if May Comes we should get May as 13, June as 14, July as 15

All Months Numbers should Increase every year sequentially....

Hi,

Steps you need to take:

1. Get a calendar
2. Load all the months resident
3. Get Year & '|' & Month as YrMth
4. Add a line RowNo() as YrMthSeqNr
5. Left join based on Year Month combination this to your calendar
6. Link your calendar to your data set based on the date

Now you will have your sequence number!
